The Department of Zoology offers Post Graduate (M.Sc.) and Graduate (B.Sc.) courses. It is a well-established department for its teaching and research activities since 2019. The department has a well-equipped and established laboratory for Post-graduate and Graduate courses. The Department has high-class teaching and research faculty members. The faculty members have broad areas of specialization in various fields i.e. Fisheries, Environmental Biology, Toxicology, Molecular Biology, Conservation biology, Population Genetic, etc.
The department is also providing the potential place of quality research in various fields of Zoology with the publication of research and review papers in reputed peer-reviewed National and International Journals. The Department organizes numerous academic activities such as popular lectures by esteemed scientists, debates, quizzes, webinars, and Conferences. The Department focuses on providing quality higher education with critical thinking and conceptual skill.
