Dr. Priyanka Kumari

Dr. Priyanka Kumari has been completed her Ph.D in Zoology (Environmental toxicology/ Fisheries) from D.V.P College, Dehradun (H.N.B Central University, Srinagar Uttarakhand). The topic of her Ph.D thesis was “Photobiological studies on fish Barilius bendelisis in presence of selected photosensitizers”. She holds degree in various disciplines, such as B.Sc. (CBZ), M.Sc. (ZOOLOGY), Specialization in fish and fisheriers from H. N. B Central Gharwal University and B.Ed. from C.C.S University Meerut.. She Worked as Junior research fellowship (JRF) in a project of University Grants Commission, New Delhi. at Department of Zoology, D.A.V (P.G) College, Dehradun. She has received Young Scientist Award for best poster presenation (National Seminar on New Innovations, Dept. Of Zoology, D.A.V.(P.G) College, Dehradun).
She has Published 15 Reseach papers in listed International/National journals. She participated in 23 National/ International conferences and 12 paper presented (oral/poster). She participated in workshop- Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT) - Genomic DNA Isolation, Sequence and characterization, State Biotechnology Department, Goverment of Uttarakhand. Her knowledge’s aera is Zoology, Fish Biology, Aquaculture,Development biology, Toxicology, Animal behaviour,Cell biology, Genetics, Molecular biology,Environmental Science, Endocrinology, Physiology, Parasitology, Biodiversity, Ecology, Biochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biostatistics & Computer (good knowledge in microsoft office) etc.
