Dr. Amar Deep is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Dhanauri P.G. College, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, since July 2023. He completed his M.Sc. at Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar, and his Ph.D. at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand. With several published papers, Dr. Deep has supervised the dissertation work of approximately 15 PG students. He is an active participant in scientific conferences (National and International) and a member of various national committees. Before joining Dhanauri P.G. College, he gained five years of teaching experience (UG and PG students) at Chinmaya Degree College, BHEL, Haridwar. His research interests include atmospheric aerosols, air quality monitoring, climate change, and air pollutants, utilizing both ground-based and remote sensing data.
